Gavin Drake is a B2B software marketing leader with over 25 years of experience building and scaling high-performing marketing organizations across a range of industries, business models, and geographies.
Gavin joined Nicus from think-cell, where he served as Chief Marketing Officer and established the company’s marketing foundation, including building the team, implementing a modern revenue technology stack, and enabling scaled go-to-market programs across North America and Europe.
Prior to think-cell, he led marketing at Ease Inc., a Spotlight portfolio company, where he evolved the marketing function and positioned the company as a leading authority in its category. Earlier in his career, he spent 14 years at Quark Software, where he progressed from regional to global leadership, helped define the content automation category, and repositioned the company into a market leader with a global enterprise customer base.
He holds a BSc (Hons) in Physics and Business Studies from De Montfort University and a Professional Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing. Gavin lives in Southern California.
